Bruce has worked in commercial broadcast television
for the past nineteen years. He is a producer, writer, director, videographer, editor, musician and composer. His experience encompasses many types of production, from news reports to music videos. Bruce has won local, national and international awards for excellence in television broadcast production.

 

His work has been honored with three regional and two national Emmy Awards. He has been recognized by the New York International Film Festival, the Museum of Broadcasting, Worldfest Houston, the Washington Press Association, the Telly Awards and many others.

 

Bruce was elected to the regional Board of Governors of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in 1990. He was re-elected by the membership in 1994 and was Chairperson and co-editor of the Academy’s monthly publication, The NATAS Monitor, until resigning after ten years of service.

 

Since 1996, Bruce has served on the Professional Advisory Board for the Film and Video Program at the University of Washington.
